Okay, ein Objektiv für läppische 100€ kann ja nicht gut sein. Oder? In allen Rezensionen, die ich über das kleinste Canon 50mm gelesen hatte, kam man zu dem Schluss, man bekäme was man bezahlt: Ein Objektiv mit guter Optik, maximal mittelmäßigen Autofokus und miserabler Verarbeitung. An meiner EOS 450D verlängert sich die Brennweite Chipgrößenbedingt auf 80mm ist also eine ideale Portraitlinse.
Also 100€ für ein Objektiv, dass lichtstärketenchnisch meine Zoomobjektive locker in die Tasche steckt. Nach meinen ersten paar Testaufnahmen kann ich sagen: ganz Falsch sind die Aussagen nicht. Für den Preis/Leistung ein fantastisches Objektiv. Der Autofokus ist allerdings gerade bei mäßiger Umgebungsbeleuchtung eher ein Schätzfokus und er macht Krach, als wäre da mehr Metall drin als mir lieb ist. Ist es aber nicht. Das Objektiv ist nunmal ein Plastikbomber. Fühlt sich aber besser an, als ich das nach dem Lesen diverser Testberichte erwartet hätte.
Was aber wirklich zählt sind ja die Bilder und die sind wirklich gut. Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit meiner ersten Festbrennweite und für meinen Teil ist der mäßige Autofokus zu verschmerzen. Man bekommt eben, was man bezahlt. Sonst gibt es ja noch für 280 Euro mehr die nächst größere Version mit Anfangsblende f/1.4, USM Autofokus und aus Metall.
